Seulanga Jurnal Pendidikan dan Pelatihan adopts the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial–ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0) license as the preferred framework for the publication, distribution, use, and reuse of scholarly works.

In setting its access policy, the journal acknowledges that free access is better than priced access, libre access is better than free access, and libre under CC BY-NC-SA or equivalent is preferable to more restrictive open licenses. The journal strives for progressive openness: it does not delay achieving free access to pursue libre access, nor does it stop at free when greater libre access can be achieved.
